Based in Los Angeles, John Carey has composed and arranged music for Hollywood films and television since 2013. With a background in both formal music composition training and work in various rock bands, John's music draws from a wide inspiration of styles, genres and musical concepts. 

 

He is a frequent collaborator with Hollywood composer Brian Tyler, working on some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters, as well as experience in TV on shows like MacGyver with composer Keith Power. As an independent composer, he has many indie films, short films and two large studio features under his belt: The Escape Room film series from Sony/Columbia Pictures.
